SPEEDHOUSE Welcomes José Antonio Peñalta Yagüe for the 2025 ROOKIE CHALLENGE Season

SPEEDHOUSE is proud to announce the addition of José Antonio Peñalta Yagüe, a 17-year-old rising star from Valencia, Spain, to their team for the 2025 Euro NASCAR ROOKIE CHALLENGE.

Lucas Lasserre’s Statement:

« I am delighted to confirm José Antonio Peñalta Yagüe as part of SPEEDHOUSE for the 2025 season in the ROOKIE CHALLENGE.

José Antonio participated in our WINTER CAMP Driver Recruitment Program last November, and his performance was outstanding. He is a pure Spanish talent with incredible experience and results in karting, particularly in the DD2 and KZ categories. He has an impressive record, including multiple race wins, numerous podium finishes, and three consecutive championships!

When he tested our car at Fontenay-Le-Comte in France, I was immediately impressed by his driving skills. Beyond his talent, José Antonio has the right mindset and a great attitude, which makes him a perfect fit for SPEEDHOUSE.

Adding to this exciting news, José Antonio was introduced to us by Dani Briz, another SPEEDHOUSE driver and a rising Spanish star who had an incredible season last year. Both drivers have been karting teammates and will now reunite under the SPEEDHOUSE banner in NASCAR, creating an even stronger dynamic within the team.

José Antonio will also join our SPEEDHOUSE Academy Driver Program, where we aim to prepare him for a bright future in motorsports. At SPEEDHOUSE, we pride ourselves on providing tailored programs for each driver to ensure their growth and success. José Antonio’s goals align perfectly with our vision, and I am confident this collaboration will lead to great achievements.*

José Antonio Peñalta Yagüe’s Statement:

« I am very happy to join SPEEDHOUSE and Lucas Lasserre to compete in the 2025 Euro NASCAR Series as the next step in my journey to becoming a professional driver.

Although I started motorsports relatively late at the age of 13 in 2021, with the support of NM Motorsport, L&M Racing, and Malheiro Racing, I was able to achieve incredible results in just three years. I’ve won races and championships across prestigious categories like DD2 and KZ, proving that dedication and the right guidance make anything possible.

This will be my first NASCAR season, and I truly believe it’s the best choice for my future. NASCAR is one of the most iconic brands in motorsports worldwide, offering immense opportunities to grow both in Europe and on the global stage.
